Annual Events in Lebanon County for the Fall Season
While there are many annual events in Lebanon County, many take place in autumn. Luckily, they almost always include local food and dessert vendors to sample, too. When you prefer to skip the spooky stuff, these sweet events satisfy. Most are top places to bring your family, while others require an I.D.

Stoudt’s Ultimate Microfest
Although this event isn’t for all ages, it is a must for those who can. This annual celebration of microbrews features tons of local breweries. Your admission ticket includes hours of live musicians and a plate for the buffet. You also receive a souvenir tasting glass you get to keep.
Find your new favorite brew while listening to great local acts. While the family might not join, there are other activities to enjoy nearby.
Harvest Festival
Around the historic Carriage House is the scenic Coleman memorial park. Each year, they host their annual Harvest Festival each October. Partake in a festive hayride, pumpkin painting, onsite bounce house, and other activities. Available snacks include concessions for hot dogs, pretzels, and beverages.
This is an affordable yearly event, and proceeds go towards maintaining the park. What better way to give back than having a great time with family?
Apple Cider Festival
For over 34 years, the residents of Grantville have celebrated fall with food and fun. The Apple Cider Festival features tons of activities and events, as well as treats. Those who enjoy baking can compete in the apple pie bake-off. Or try the less competitive apple dumplings and wash it down with cider.
You can also enjoy wagon rides, face painting, a petting zoo, and other activities. Parking is also free, keeping this annual event an affordable one.
Choctoberfest
Downtown Hershey doesn’t feel sweeter than during their annual Choctoberfest celebrations. Every year, the streets fill with local vendors and live music performances. For six hours, you and your closest friends and neighbors mingle in the crisp weather. Pick up a pumpkin, pie, or a pint from many local companies.
Whether you reside here or are visiting others, this is a must-see annual event. Join in the festivities with a chilly day in the sun.
Annual Exhibition of Quilts
While quilts aren’t the most exciting things around, those who make them are. Every year since 2006, the Annual Exhibition of Quilts has wowed crowds. With over 150 different quilts on display, it’s hard to resist their craftsmanship and charm. The Lebanon Quilters Guild offers live demonstrations, as well as a raffle and silent auction.
Whether you knit or need something to do, this is a surprisingly exciting event. You find enough inspiration to pick up some quilting needles before you head home.
